We raise our salad tomatoes ourselves as young plants in Illmitz, Burgenland, Austria. They are especially suited to anyone looking for aromatic tomatoes for salads, cold snack platters and fresh cooking. The choice runs from tried-and-tested variety types to unusual tomatoes with special colours and fruit shapes.

If you want to buy salad tomato plants, you can choose from varieties with different flavours, sizes and growth habits. Alongside classic tomatoes we also grow green, dark and multicoloured varieties.

Salad tomatoes in different colours and shapes

Salad tomatoes don't have to be classically round and red. Depending on the variety, the fruit can ripen green, dark, striped, multicoloured or unusually shaped.

Our range includes, for example, Green Zebra, Black Zebra, Dark Galaxy, Indigo Rose and Black Ethiopian. Varieties such as Atomic Fusion, Banana Legs, Antho Pink Panther and Thai Pink Egg are also assigned to this collection.

Ordering salad tomatoes as plants

Pre-orders for our tomato plants open in early January. Plants ship in spring, once the young plants are strong enough and temperatures allow safe transport.

Our variety pages stay online outside the selling season. This way you can find out about different salad tomatoes early and choose your favourites for the coming growing season.
