We raise our chilli plants ourselves as young plants on our chilli farm in Illmitz, Burgenland, Austria. From mild classics to extremely hot rarities – here you will find our entire range of chilli and mild pepper plants for sale, for garden, balcony and greenhouse, sorted by heat level and botanical species.

Chilli plants by heat level

To help you find the right heat for your taste, our range is divided into four heat levels: mild varieties in sweet pepper & mild chilli plants (heat level 0-3), pleasantly fiery varieties in medium-hot chilli plants (heat level 4-7), intensely hot varieties in hot chilli plants (heat level 8-10) and extremely hot varieties in super hot chilli plants (heat level 10+++).

Chilli plants by botanical species

If you are interested in particular chilli species, you can also browse our varieties by Capsicum species: the versatile Capsicum annuum, the fruity, hot Capsicum chinense with habanero and its relatives, the citrusy Capsicum baccatum and Capsicum pubescens with the rocoto varieties, which suit cooler temperatures.

Classics and special varieties

From the jalapeño plant and Habanero Red to the Carolina Reaper plant – our range runs from tried-and-tested classics to unusual varieties such as Aji Charapita or Black Scorpion Tongue. If you are looking for rare and unusual varieties, you will find them in our Rare Chilli Plants category. Fruity, mild sweet pepper varieties are part of the sweet pepper & mild chilli plants category, and classic habanero varieties have their own category.

Ordering chilli plants

Pre-orders for our chilli plants open in early January. Plants ship in spring, once the young plants are strong enough and temperatures are suitable for safe transport. All variety pages stay online outside the season, so you can browse in advance and choose your favourites. Not sure how to get started?
