Raclette, fondue or a beautiful cheese board: with the Käsekenner Set you have three perfect companions from Illmitz on the table. A fruity chutney, a sweet-and-sour relish and a dark chilli sauce, all made with chillies from our own growing.
What's in the Käsekenner Set?
- Süße Versuchung – mango chilli chutney with yellow bell pepper, Lemon Drop chillies and Trockenbeerenauslese dessert wine (heat level 3 out of 12)
- Gurkerlfee – sweet-and-sour relish made from pickled gherkins and Santa Fe chillies (heat level 4 out of 12)
- Heiße Schokolade – deep brown chilli sauce made from Habanero Chocolate, Chocolate Beauty pepper and balsamic vinegar (heat level 5 out of 12)
Raclette sauces and fondue dips
Süße Versuchung adds a fruity contrast to melted raclette cheese, just as it does to spicy mountain cheese or mild soft cheese. Gurkerlfee brings the sweet-and-sour freshness of pickled gherkins, which belong on the table at any raclette anyway.
For meat in the raclette pan or for meat fondue, Heiße Schokolade is the right choice: its fine sweetness and dark aromas go with dark meat and steak. Stir Gurkerlfee into mayonnaise and you also have a gherkin chilli mayonnaise. That turns the three jars into a small dip set for raclette and fondue.
Also for cheese boards and cold platters
The Käsekenner Set isn't just meant for raclette evenings. Süße Versuchung goes with any cheese board, with brie, goat's cheese and sandwiches. Gurkerlfee belongs on burgers, sausages and a classic cold platter, and Heiße Schokolade adds depth to goulash, chilli con carne and game.
Two award-winning classics
Süße Versuchung and Gurkerlfee have both won multiple international awards. You'll find all our award-winning products under Award Winning Products.
