Kohlenstoff is pleasantly mild at heat level 2 out of 12. Gurkerlfee has a clearly noticeable, well-balanced heat at 4 out of 12. Wilder Osten brings distinct Habanero heat at 6 out of 12, and Flammenmeer is a very hot seasoning salt at 9 out of 12.
What do the products go with at a barbecue?
Kohlenstoff goes with sausages, chops, grilled vegetables and burgers. Gurkerlfee belongs on burgers, hot dogs and sausages and turns into a gherkin chilli mayonnaise when mixed with mayonnaise. Serve Wilder Osten as a dip with grilled food and potato wedges, and use Flammenmeer to season meat, grilled vegetables and potatoes.

Kohlenstoff – handmade tomato-based grill sauce with a fine smoky note, without a heavy BBQ flavour (heat level 2 out of 12)
Gurkerlfee – sweet-and-sour relish made from pickled gherkins and Santa Fe chillies, multiple international award winner (heat level 4 out of 12)
Wilder Osten – Habanero chilli sauce with bell pepper and a fine mustard note (heat level 6 out of 12)
Flammenmeer chilli salt – coarse sea salt with Habanero juice soaked into its crystals (heat level 9 out of 12)
From mild to fiery at the grill
Kohlenstoff is the mild base for everyone at the table and goes with sausages, chops and grilled vegetables. Gurkerlfee brings sweet-and-sour freshness to burgers, hot dogs and sausages. Wilder Osten turns up the heat with plenty of Habanero and tastes great as a dip with grilled food and crispy potato wedges.
Flammenmeer seasons and adds heat in one step: the pink salt goes over meat, grilled vegetables and potatoes and works well in a spice grinder.
Hot burger sauce for your burger
On a burger, three of the four work together: Kohlenstoff as the mild, smoky base, Gurkerlfee as the relish and Wilder Osten as the hot burger sauce on top. For a creamy version, stir Gurkerlfee into mayonnaise and you'll have a gherkin chilli mayonnaise in no time.
